Catrina Marchetti is a multi-media sculptor and photographer whose work is
deeply spiritual, symbolic in content and primitive in form, rooted
in the idea of giving form to her archetypal quest to nurture and
invigorate the spirit. Her tableaus identify social inequities and,
simultaneously, suggest hope. She has exhibited extensively in the
San Francisco Bay Area since receiving her MFA from the California
College of Arts and Crafts in 1990. Her current sculptural work was
exhibited at Pro Arts Gallery, Oakland, in January, 1998.
