My work encompasses a range of emotional influences layered beneath an opaque surface. The subjects range from figurative artwork to abstract imagery. A blend of themes are discernible and can be found in the excavation that's in most of my work. The media - acrylic and latex paintings on wood and found objects, blended with bits of magazine, typography, and personal notes - are arranged into relationships that create new meanings through form and proximity. You're invited to share my vision while still having the space and stillness needed for your own interpretation.
