I replied to your quest but your e-mail address was returned an invalid URL. Regarding your question concerning Bacon's alleged 'distorted' , 'disfigured'and 'deformed' portraits; they are nothing of the kind; it is photographic and 'realist' (literal) representation that is the 'true' distortion. We are so conditioned by photographic realism as being 'true' to 'life' that Bacon's image thus appears 'distorted'. We need to rethink appearances (which can be deceptive).
