It occurred to me as I was eating my daily ration of oatmeal that I hadn't visited you lately so I clicked you up. There was Francis Bacon, whom I've been intending to learn a lot more about for a few months. I'm one of your site's biggest fans and with Bacon you've outdone yourselves. The writing is acerbic, which I adore--maybe could be moreso--but seems to be dead on. I'm afraid the more I learn of Bacon the less I respect his work, but he is always enormously interesting.
