As a 3rd year BA student, I am beginning a dissertation that is looking at the tryptich. I have chosen the works of Francis Bacon as a point of departure and would be grateful of information as to why this genre has been so prevalent in his work. Any information would be helpful as I am finding it difficult to get any in-depth material. Many thanks in anticipation
