– I am writing a post-pop analysis of DW for a college level class- anyone know of gallerys currently showing in nyc or of any other sites, peoples i should check out that will help me with my paper? looking for anything anecdotal, inspirational, etc.

It's in the Innocence and Experience section. It's in a room with Charles Ray's Family Romance, but Wojnarowicz's piece was the one everyone stopped and studied!

– Hello, I'm a student at the University of Rochester, writing a paper for an Art History class entitled "Representing AIDS". The subject of my paper of David Wojnarowicz's artwork. I'm having trouble finding a more accurate date for when he was diagnosed with HIV. The only thing I've been able to find so far is "the late 80s". If anyone knows, could you please let me know ASAP? – David Deitcher pointed out at a panel about the Wojnarowicz exhibition at Fales Library that the New Museum exhibition made David a distant presence in his own work and I agree. I enjoyed seeing his work again after all this time but the spirit is missing. He is there for me in the journals and ephemera of the archive at Fales and the newly published "Journals".
